From across the globe, it has been surveyed that the people who eat fresh fruits and vegetables, and consume less quantity of sugar and saturated fats in their meals, tend to live longer. In fact, Japan has the highest number of centenarians (100 years of age) and super-centenarians (110 years of age). They follow a concept called Hara Hachi Bu - eating till your stomach is 80% full.
