We often tend to crave for sugary foods and those instant 2 minute noodles. Whenever we’re out, we are always reluctant to buy those lip smacking street foods and chats. Of course they’re delicious and irresistible, but we often, and almost always, ignore the fact that they are unhealthy. Not only these food items are unhealthy, but they are super unhygienic too.
It is often quoted that “what you eat is what you become”. Indeed that’s true!
The people who live longer are the ones who eat the right food.
From across the globe, it has been surveyed that the people who eat fresh fruits and vegetables, and consume less quantity of sugar and saturated fats in their meals, tend to live longer. In fact, Japan has the highest number of centenarians (100 years of age) and super-centenarians (110 years of age). They follow a concept called Hara Hachi Bu- eating till your stomach is 80% full.
This concludes that the nutrition is the most
important part of fitness. Various researches confirm that it is important to
do regular exercise but it is even more important to eat foods rich in
nutritional value.
Fitness is often confused with physical fitness,
but it is your mental health as well. One must be physically as well as
mentally fit, and to achieve that fitness, one should keep a watch on their
eating habits.
Take care of your physical and mental health,
because without a good health, life seems worthless.
